Question

Did oyu enjoy reading Romeo and Juliet, why or why not?

Answer

I did enjoy reading quotRomeo and Julietquot. Shakespeares use of language is impressive, and much of the dialogue in his plays reads like poetry.brbrNevertheless, I believe that in order to truly appreciate Shakespeare, you should experience his plays as the author intended on a stage, rather than in a book.brbrFailing that, rent one of the many movie versions of quotRomeo and Julietquot. I think the version with Leonard Whiting as Romeo and Olivia Hussey as Juliet is probably the easiest to get hold of, and they certainly did a good job interpreting the Bards play.brbrThen, just to continue your education, rent quotMidsummer Nights Dreamquot with Kevin Kline playing Nick Bottom, Michelle Pfeiffer as Tatiana, Rupert Everett as Oberon, and Calista Flockhart as Helena. It is one of the more enjoyable screen adaptations Ive ever seen. The allstar cast look like theyre having the time of their lives, and the plot is hysterically funny.
